Eye of the Eagle

Captured this when this guy was about to fly off after quenching his thirst. I just love the glint in the eyes!

Duck Tales!

Contemplating

Bliss!
The Lalbagh Lake plays an important part in maintaining the ecological balance at lalbagh, as the island within provides habitat to various species of birds, from ducks to flamingos to pelicans to kingfishers!

Lalbagh

One of the first places i started clicking photographs with intent was Lalbagh, the mammoth 240 acre peaceful paradise at the heart of the city. Here are a series of photographs from my photo-shoots here.

Lal Bagh is a 240 acre (971,000 sq.m. - almost 1 km².) garden and is located on the southern part of Bangalore. The garden was commissioned by the ruler of Mysore, Hyder Ali. The garden has over 1,000 species of flora. The Glass House, modeled on London's Crystal Palace (now re-modelled with a different layout), is the center of attraction. The park has some rare species of plants brought from Persia, Afghanistan and France. The Lal Bagh Rock, one of the oldest rock formations on earth, dating back to 3000 million years, is another attraction that brings the crowds. It has a famous glass house which hosts yearly flower show. It also has an aquarium and a lake, which atract a variety of birds.

Attack!

This was in Lalbagh where a farm of ants were going about their business, but this guy was too curious about the intruder!
